WIAW Getting Creative

This was a day where I had lots of things to use up as I had bought them in the reduced section so had to be a little creative. It's great being forced into thinking about how to use something up and it can lead to some great surprises!

Breakfast was fruit and fibre bread...delicious! It's got a hint of sweetness from the fruit which makes it perfect for your morning meal.

My morning snack consisted of some ripe fruit that I had ripened at home.

One of the things I had bought that needed using up were some seeded wraps I found reduced to 35p from Waitrose. I made myself a tasty cheese and spinach wrap with tomato salsa and red pepper for lunch.

For afternoon snack, I had another nectarine, and then the favourite of the day....two petit filous yogurts. I know they are designed for kids, but they are so tasty and they come in cute little pots.

Dinner was the best creation. I made a type of pizza using a wrap as the base. I covered it in red pesto and tomato pasta, pepper, red onion, spinach and cheese before popping it in the oven for 10 mins. I loved the crispy base and felt more of a gourmet dinner!
Thanks to Peas and Crayons for hosting.
