Recipe 14 Spinach Banana Green Smoothie.

I have always been interested in trying a green smoothie, with the amazing health benefits and ease of making I thought I would give it a try. I have never been sure whether it would fill me up for breakfast, so trying it over the bank holiday weekend was perfect. I had some spinach, ripe bananas and natural yogurt so used this recipe to create my liquid (in a good way) breakfast.

Ingredients
4 cups Baby Spinach, RAW
6 ounces vanilla yogurt, 1 serving
1 banana
water


 Place everything in the blender and blend for a minute (or until your blender creates a smooth mixture)
Add water to make the consistency you like.
I can't believe I have waited so long to try this as it was so delicious. I was always doubtful that you would be able to taste the spinach, but I couldn't at all. I started with a small amount, and ended up adding a little more to make it this rich green colour. I think it helped that the banana was super ripe so was very sweet, and I would always imagine that riper bananas are better.
