WIAW 15

It has been a great Easter weekend, full of chocolate, roast dinners, (and strangely green smoothies). The four days off certainly makes it hard to get back into getting up for work early and preparing lunches. Luckily I had my parents and grandparents over for Easter Monday for a roast dinner, and they came with a box of goodies from Waitrose. So here is what I ate yesterday....

It started of with banana and peanut butter on a bagel.

One of the goodies my parents bought was a tasty fruit salad from Waitrose which was super tasty and didn't have any melon in. Yay.

 I had a tasty salad for lunch, which consisted of leftovers from the previous day. I had tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, beetroot ham and a little pot of salad cream. Just a word of warning...beetroot gets through even watertight containers. I had a bit of an accident on the way to work but luckily I went prepared with a spare plastic bag to wrap it in.
 I got some strawberries at the local market (two punnets for a pound!!!) which I also snacked on late at work.

For dinner, we had leftovers from the roast heated up with some extra spinach, broccoli, and I tried veggie sausages. They were Stella McCartney Italian style vegetarian sausages that I found in Morrisons for 99p and they were quite tasty. I prefer vegetarian foods when they don't try to be meat, but taste more of vegetables and herbs. It was something I would have again, but don't think they are suitable for casseroles or to put in pasta.


.I was quite hungry later in the evening so nibbled on some of my Easter chocolate while catching up on Masterchef. Tasty!
