Yu! Fruit review

Yu! Fruit sent me some samples of their tasty snacks to try and give my honest opinion. I was sent a selection from strawberry and raspberry coated yogurt pieces to 'jus fruit' in cherry, mango and strawberry. These were something I was really excited about as I love to snack throughout the day, and am always trying to find a healthier way to do it.
Here is what Yu! say about their products

'Made from real fruit and wholesome, natural ingredients (not to mention completely free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives), there really is something for everyone – mum, dad, teenagers and little ones alike. Trust us, whether you're out and about, in the office, relaxing in front of the box or packing the kids' lunchboxes for school, this is the snack for Yu!'

I started with trying the yogurt coated pieces which are around 120 calories. There is nothing to say whether these count as one of your five a day, but as they are real raspberry pieces, so I would assume it at least goes towards one. The fruit inside was sweet and chewy with a yummy yogurt coating, however I start to find them a little sickly towards the end of the bag. Doesn't mean I wouldn't go back for another bag though, but it certainly cures any sweet cravings I would have.

The favourite for me were the pieces of fruit. They count as one of your five a day and come in a circular almost jelly form. The packaging is re-sealable, which means it is great for keeping on your desk and picking at without worrying they might dry out or go off. The chewy texture and sweet flavour gives the impression that you are eating something naughty!

I have never dried mango in this form before, and found it delicious and is a nice change from the usual red berry flavours.

After having tried them all, I would definitely recommend them to both adults and children. They would be great to pop in lunch boxes and as a quick snack to have in your handbag. It's nice to have the comfort of being able to fill any food cravings with something that is 100% natural ingredients and also counts towards your five a day.
If I were to repurchase, I would most definitely buy the fruit pieces, and would buy the yogurt if it was on special offer.
