Making your own recipe book

You know all those supermarket magazine and recipe leaflets you have collected and are now cluttering up your cupboards or bookcase? Well that was me. I couldn't help but pick up a magazine on the way home, and it provided good reading on the train or over dinner, but it was getting too much. Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Waitrose, they are all there.

I never used to look at them, and a lot of the pages were irrelevant to me. I wanted to make the most out of the good recipes, and over the past year or so, I have been cutting out my favourites and sticking them in my own book.
I spend a quiet evening or weekend going through all the accumulated magazine and cut out the pieces that I really want to try. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I use a small guillotine and stick them in with magic tape. I like using magic tape, as I can take them out the book while I am trying them and avoid getting the book really messy with kitchen splatters.
The end result is your own personalised book full of recipes you actually want to try. If you decide you don't like one, the magic tape means you can just take it out! Voila.

I know you could just do this using an app or online tool, but I find nothing better than following something printed when I am cooking. I hate having something digital that I could ruin with a small spill, or having to press a button to get it out of sleep mode. This works perfectly for me...
