WIAW 17 Tasty colour

These weeks go so quickly, and when there is a bank holiday it seems to creep up on me even faster. Here is what I ate Tuesday. It started with the usual banana and peanut butter on toast.
At work, a colleage came back from their holiday in Japan, and bought some interesting snacks. I wasn't a big fan of most of them, but the mushroom shaped chocolate was really yummy.
For lunch, I had a cheese salad wrap. It was philadelphia light cream cheese, with lettuce, spinach, carrot, tomato and sweet chilli sauce. I ate it with a couple of easy peeler satsumas which I found reduced to 50p for a bag!

I had a small snack of mixed nuts, seeds and dried fruit from Waitrose that my parents bought me. It is their Vigour mix, and came in 5 small portion sized packets, which make them perfect for my lunch box. The mix was really good at keeping me fuller for longer as well.

For dinner, I had a very colourful concoction. I chopped up lots of veg and defrosted some prawns, which I stir fried with some mixed rice, garlic, ginger, lime and a splash of soy. It was really simple, quick and tasted really fresh. I love having colourful food..makes me happy.

Thanks to Peas and Crayons for hosting. Hope you are having a great Wednesday and look forward to seeing your day of eats!
