We Love London

I am originally from Kent in a small town with lots of charity shops and estate agents. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you need a car to get to places or have to keep an eye on the time for last trains home. And although I love the place dearly, it can never match up to the vibrant city of London.

Around every corner there is something interesting to do. A day out need not be organised, as you are bound to stumble upon something fun to do, whether it is a local market, or naked people cycling on bikes, London can always provide great entertainment.
Despite some people's beliefs, London has plenty of great open park spaces to satisfy those country lovers.

One of my personal favourite activities to do is to visit food markets, and in particular Borough Market. Just 20 minutes on the train for me, it is easy to get to and a great way to fill the day (and the belly). I can come here on my own for a nice wander and taste some new foods, or make it into a wonderful social event with prosecco celebration drinks. With an abundance of foods to try and buy, it is a great bustling environment with some tummy rumbling inducing smells.

Entertainment is important in London so an improtu visit to the Southbank (another of my favourite places) could lead to a wonderful meal or drink in the sun to watching the entertainers. With seasonal entertainment and weekend food markets, there is always a hustle and bustle.
And if you are more of an oraganised activity person, ticketed events are always scheduled, from the Bike Show, to the Ideal Home Show, London caters for every interest and hobby.

And if after all that, you are still stuck for something to do, you can visit the many museums which offer free entry and showcase some world class art.
You can never tire of London, you can never be bored. Just get out and explore!
