Whitby Seafoods Scampi Review

I love seafood. People ask me if I could be vegetarian as I already eat a lot of vegetables and not too much meat, but the one thing that would stop me is seafood. For me, fish is so versatile and tasty that I would struggle to not pick a piece of Salmon off a menu. So when I was asked if I wanted to try some Scampi, I was more than happy to.
Some previous experiences of Scampi have not always been great, and maybe that is due to the proportion of fish inside the breaded layer. But Whitby Seafoods seem to stand out in the supermarkets with Scampi being made from 100% British langoustine 'We catch them in the waters around the British Isles and carefully prepare them with our tasty golden crumb here in Whitby, North Yorkshire. '
They have also recently undergone a style overhaul with new sleek branding and packaging which has bought them into the current day and makes them stand out on the shelves. The website has a friendly feel and allows you to explore their brand and individual products even more

The cooking instructions were really simple, taking just 18 minutes in the oven or deep fry for 4 minutes making it a easy dinner.
I served with sweet potato chips and peas and was a great dinner. The scampi contained nice chunks of fish and the outside was crispy and delicious making them feel fresher than others I have tried.
